A ginkgo leaf CNC stone feature wall uses vertical natural stone panels with CNC-machined and hand-finished 3D ginkgo leaves, part-backlit with a warm halo, to make a calm botanical focal wall behind a sofa, TV or reception desk.
The design
The wall is built from vertical stone panels in a grey textured finish. Some panels are rock-textured and others are smoother, so the surface changes subtly from strip to strip. Across them, large ginkgo leaves stand out in 3D relief, each with a slim stem running down the panel.
Between the large leaves, smaller ginkgo outlines are engraved into the face of the stone. This mix of raised relief and shallow engraving gives the wall depth without crowding it, and the rhythm of the vertical joints keeps the composition orderly.
Craftsmanship: CNC-machined and hand-finished
Each relief leaf is CNC-machined from the stone so that the fan shape, ribs and stem are accurate and consistent across the wall. The leaves are then hand-finished to soften tool marks and bring out the natural texture of the stone.
- CNC relief: precise, repeatable 3D leaf profiles.
- Engraving: fine ginkgo outlines cut into the panel face.
- Hand finishing: edges, ribs and surfaces refined by hand.
- Panel layout: rock-textured and smoother vertical panels planned as one composition.

Where it suits
- Sofa back wall: the original setting, giving a living room a quiet focal point.
- TV wall: keep relief leaves clear of the screen zone and use engraved outlines around it.
- Foyer or entrance wall: a backlit leaf makes a welcoming first view.
- Hotel lobby or reception: the panel module scales to larger walls.

Lighting tips
- Backlight only a few of the large leaves so the halo stays a highlight.
- Use a warm white concealed LED behind the leaf so light spills evenly around the edge.
- Add soft grazing light from above to bring out the rock texture and the engraved outlines.
- Plan wiring, drivers and service access before the panels are fabricated.
